The EMCA is committed to providing safe, fun, family-friendly events for the community. These are historically the annual events. However, we are open to other events and ideas if there are volunteers interested in organizing them. Contact us with your ideas, or come to an EMCA meeting.
EASTER EGG HUNT
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt typically takes place the Saturday before Easter weekend, but the date is always announced. Children of all ages are welcome to fill their baskets during this event at the playground.
Volunteer opportunities: Event organizer, prepare eggs, volunteer the day of the event.
ANNUAL TURKEY TROT
This is a family event on Thanksgiving morning. Although it is not officially timed, it is a certified 5K course.
Volunteer opportunities: Committee member, volunteer the day of the event, donation of food items.
HALLOWEEN PARADE
This event typically takes place the day of trick-or-treat night, but the date is always announced. Costumes are encouraged as you stand on our posted parade route.
